banCO

banCO is wunderkammer's co-working and co-manufacturing space, founded to create shared work and design experiences at the former river dock warehouses of Ferrara.
With five workstations and spaces for production available to artisans, creatives and freelancers, banCO is a bit of an office, a bit of a studio and also a place for meetings, exchange and training.

In 2014 it was conceived as part of the LOWast (LIFE+) program as a project by basso profilo and has given the opportunity to young designers, architects, artisans, graphic designers, illustrators and freelancers active in the world of fashion, event organization and publishing to work and grow professionally in the spaces of banCO.

Since 2018 banCO has moved on to its second stage, that of creating a CO-mmunity. With the contribution of the Municipality of Ferrara and in partnership with ArtER / AREA S3-Ferrara, the training centre Centoform, the organisation for the safeguarding of freelancers Acta, Er.go (Regional company for the right to higher education), we have activated, together with the CO-mmunity of banCO, a dialogue on the themes of creative industry, circular economy and social innovation, transforming Wunderkammer into a community hub for the Giardino-Darsena district.
